Description
A chalk white heart is drawn on the concrete pavement at a voodoo wedding in New Orleans. Objects are placed at certain points on the heart. They are a goblet of red wine, a cupcake, a rose petal candle, and another candle with an incense stick.

Personally I'll stay away from the VooDoo. Had an experience in a Mexican curandera shop near the border once. Learned a lesson, God doesn't want his people in places like that. Be careful of that stuff. I've seen the similar in West Africa. Real.
Kathleen K Parker replied:
They had their elopement wedding there. It WAS spooky and uncomfortable as it went on. Also, its courtyard was bounded in the back by a two-story building that had people living there and not the "usual people," or so it felt to me. I was glad to get out of there, Joe. So was my photo partner, Bill. The last time we were near that place or address, I looked for it, but I must have missed seeing it. I have never seen a wedding at a voodoo place, and I have seen hundreds.I agree it is not a place God wants to place us. I wondered how they could marry in such a place but kept my mouth shut. I wanna know about your experiences, but not here on this page. kk
