Description
On driving from Danang to Hoi An on the coastal road in Vietnam, we came across an area called The Marble Mountains. These mountains dominate the plain-like landscape and on the way from the airport, you will notice them looming in the distance and jutting up dramatically from the ground.
Factories have been set up here where stonemasons carve and sell stone statues all over the world. You'll see scores of magnificent marble carvings of lions, Buddha, angels and other statues.
