Hand tinted vintage postcard of 1908 with view on Coney island in New York .
One of the many things my father collected were postage stamps. He had a huge collection. He also was very interested in history and historical items so he collected old postcards with the stamps still preserved on them. Most of them of are of the first fifteen years of the last century.
One of his friends had an uncle who had sailed on ships to the orient and to the USA in the beginning of the 20th century and had send many postcards home. It gives a great historical view of the places and people in those days and I still love to look at the cards.
