This digital art was created from a photograph that was taken in April 2019 while I was riding the parkway. This was taken at the Linn Cove Viaduct, the bridge that hugs the face of Grandfather Mountain and was the last section of the Blue Ridge Parkway to be completed. The bridge was completed in 1987 and cost $10 million dollars. The views in this area are breathtaking and in my opinion the most impressive of any other overlook or area of the parkway.
