Description

This digital art was created from a photograph I took in April 2019. I had been wanting to visit Mount Jefferson for three years, and in April 2019 on one of my rides I decided to check it out. Mount Jefferson State Park rises more than 1600 feet about the surrounding landscape and it has been calling my name for three years now. The park had three overlooks and a parking lot at the top that was pretty full so I bipassed the .3 mile hike to the top this trip. I stopped at all three overlooks and the views were amazing. As with most North Carolina parks I have been to, there was no charge and that is always awesome!
