This is really pretty. I like it a lot! I'm enjoying looking through your gallery. :)) Very inspirational.

Thanks John, you may see by my other watercolor works that I create some solid forms and color with some glazing techniques. I like to have as much dynamic range in colors in the watercolor medium just like in acrylic.

Hi David, I am the father of Ivan Rodger,. I was looking at your work and it struck me how bright it was compared to other works I have seen. Perhaps that is enhanced by your use of acrylics? I tried to get Ivan to use them but he did not seem to get to grips with it. Your portraiture work is very nice especially "The Beatles" and the very colorful other stars like Marley, Jackson etc. Ivan is a "Savant" and is very precise in what he paints, though in my opinion , has never got to grips with portrait works for whatever reason. I look after his site, when I get round to it. I was also intrigued to see that you have subdivided your works into mini galleries. Anyway, very nice work and you are deservedly successful in my opinion. Best wishes. John Rodger
