The focus of this artwork is encouraging people to open their minds because our own ignorance keeps us from reaching our fullest potential and working together to solve many problems that plague humanity.
As with much of my work then, I digitally drew this with a laptop touchpad (I'm pretty sure I had advanced past the hand held mouse) and then added the text, in 2006. I touched up this version years later, after refining skills. So instead of jittery edges around the handcuffs, this version is smoother.
