Description
I just completed this floral oil painting. I was inspired by the flowers I see on my travels in Italy. The Irises, poppies and sunflowers are everywhere! It is the most beautiful place I have ever been and I continue to paint from those memories. I painted the sides the grayish background color, so it is not necessary to frame. I intentionally gave some of the flowers a painterly texture as well.
