Description
There is a quiet, peaceful small park overlooking Charlotte Harbor just before you cross over the bridge into Punta Gorda. I enjoy stopping there on my way to work and just strolling the pathways and looking out over the water. One late afternoon, as the sun was making its decent, long shadows were cast by the palm trees across the grass. I liked the contrasts and lines of the shadows and captured this tranquil landscape.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
