Other meanings: calm and confident in a way that lacks respect for other people, but makes people admire you as well as disapprove.

The Teenager COOL is something else all together: Awesome, Great, Artsy, fashionable, stylish, Dope, Connected and so forth..... never ends...

Teens in each generation develop a language of their own based on what is going on in their lives. In this modern day timeline, social media and digital communication means teen slang is evolving faster than ever.

Most teen slang words are harmless. Teens are just using these words to sound cool or to fit in with their peers. It doesn’t hurt for a parent to learn a few of them. If you don’t try, you might not know what your kids are talking about even when you are sitting right across while they talk.

I have been learning a few of these from my kids. Find the meaning yourself If you want to venture a little into this territory. Awks, Cancel, Chedder, GOAT, Dope, Gucci, Hundo P, Lit, OMG, Rides, Salty, Skurt, Snatched, TDH, Straight Fire, Yolo, Bae, BFF, Bruh, Creeper, Emo, Fly, Curve, Ship, n00b, Squad, Sus, Tight, Wanksta, Chillaxing, Requestion, Crushy, Tope, CD9, POS, Tool, Throw Shade.

One thing though, I just wrote down the good stuff. The really Bad stuff you need to learn too. Believe me, you just have no choice but to have a clue what these guys are up to. At least up till they are 18, or in some cases, 30!

Relax though. It pays to pray for them when you can. All will be well. You can only control so much. CHEERS!
