The Tolbooth Tavern Clock is gorgeous and keeps excellent time! I had just arrived in Scotland and knew that I had to rush to Holyrood Palace at the other end of the Royal Mile. It was a very long day, but I was so incredibly happy to be in Scotland!! It was just amazing walking down the Royal Mile and seeing all the sites that I had only read about and seen on the internet and Instagram!! I loved the sun resting gently on this famous clock hanging some 20 feet in the air on the side of a very ornate tower. The Tolbooth Tavern is also very famous with lots of tasty treats inside. Too bad I couldn't stop to try something...we had places to be and people to meet!
