Description
Sometimes beauty is found in unexpected places. The abandoned Methodist Church in Jermyn, Texas, is a favorite photography stop. Old pews, stained glass, and decaying pianos offer ample photographic compositions. On a recent visit I noticed a collection of jars, passed over by time, sitting on the window sill above the sink. Time preserved. Late afternoon light filtered through the window. The scene formed a simple, yet powerful still life.
