I noticed someone else use the word "powerful". That fits this piece as well as any I've seen in a while. Excellent work!

Thanks Denny!

It started with a regular 24 June St. John parade. Then, painting and repainting, on and off during a few years, the jolly figures gained bad teeth and grey skin and the grins became sinister. Don't ask me why. Today, looking at it, the title popped out in my mind: A Zombie Parade! So, enjoy!

Yokohama - Japan

Just finished watching the Walking Dead and what struck me in that as well as in this just how many people actually go through life in a zombie-like fashion. Cool work Ion, especially like the facial expression of the guy in the blue! V/F!

I like your kind of humour, Dean! Thanks!

Very glad you like it, Bob! Maybe one day I can come to see that Zombie Parade (if it's not too scary... Michael Jackson's clip is my limit!)

This reminds me of "The Portrait of Dorian Gray", a novel published by Oscar Wild. In that novel, an artist was so impressed by the beauty of the subject, Dorian Gray, that he painted his portrait. Dorian Gray decided to sell his soul, so that, the painting will age rather than he. As Dorian Gray plunges himself into sins, through the years, disfigurements together with signs of aging are shown in his portrait! What happen to your painting is very interesting. This is probably caused by what medium you had used to increase viscosity. This is a very interesting and intriguing artwork! Great title, Ion!

Thanks, Nicole! But, I swear, I did NOT sold my soul! (I wouldn't be poor if I would, wouldn't I?) I wasn't probably celar enough - the painting changed but I was the one changing it, painting and repainting it... I just seen recently the movie with the Portrait of Dorian Grey! thanks again!

Danu, this is great in all ways. Powerful, scary, but in a good way because of the vivid colors you used. Love also the medieval feeling in this painting. You're so good and original, my friend. Iti doresc o duminica fericita tie si celor iubiti de tine. F,v, SU. ______ Ana

Thanks, Ana! mare multzumesc!
