Hummmmmmmmmmmm and the memory of music plays on. This beautiful violin sets in its beautiful blue felt violin case. The violin had never been played for over 70 years. The owner passed away the summer of 2013 and is on display in the their home. Marie's husband Gene was born in 1925 and played the violin from 4th grade til high school and the violin forever remained silent. Gene's musical instrument are display on a parlor room wall of their home here in New Orleans This photo was taken with a Nikon 820 macro zoom.
