While out for a drive with a friend, we stopped in at Perissos Vineyard near Burnet, Texas north of Austin to check out their wines. The family that owns this vineyard are great people and they invited us to take pictures in their vineyard and winery.We decided to take part in a wine tasting and after having some of their Tempranillo, I just had to bring a bottle home.
Perissos Vineyard won an award for the Best Wine in Texas with their Tempranillo and after tasting it, I could not resist.
Walking among the grapes in the vineyard was such a peaceful way to spend the afternoon. If you are in the area of Perissos Vineyard, it's worth the time to stop and check it out.
