This is a painting of Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, Kent, UK, one of the most famous gardens in England. the gardens were created in the 1930s by writers Vita Sackville-West (planting) and her husband, Harold Nicolson (layout). Both were strongly influenced by Gertrude Jekyll and Edwin Lutyens.
