There is this fascinating thing I used to see as a young boy. This Little red Volkswagen Beetle used to pass on a dirt road next to our home every morning. An elderly man used to drive it to work every day. Sometimes he would carry some young kids in it, probably his grandchildren. They would always wave their hands in greetings every time they passed. That was nice of them.
I never really ever got to get into that little red car, but I would always look forward to seeing it every morning. It was a lovely sight. These days whenever I visit my mum I donβt see the beetle anymore. Whatever happened to that old man and his beetle? I really never asked.
I just love to cherish that old beautiful memory. The little Red Beetle of times gone!
