Description
Olaf Seltzer and Charles Russell were friends and roamed the west doing what they both did best, painting what the witnessed first hand. Russell, went on and became far more famous then Russell and his work is often mistakenly credited to Russell. One more then one occasion both artist did paintings with the same title but total different images, which only added to the confusion of course.
The question I have about this piece, is where did he find an African lion in the deserts of the west? lol
