Description
Photographic artwork by Cindy Treger. Photographed near Lake Meade, East Berlin, PA. A late March snow storm brought all the birds to the feeding station, including this adorable male American Goldfinch. This little guys molting process is advancing rapidly as his sheds old dull feathers and gets his bright yellow signature mark feathers. His bill, and feet, are also turning orange and his head is starting to take on its black cap. He is adorable with his in between coat as he poses for the camera, with snow flakes floating past.
