The Girl With Far Away eyes.
This is not the kind of work that I normally do but I wanted to do something different and try to expand my horizons.
I was over in San Francisco at Fort point that is under the Golden Gate Bridge. The fort was built back in the 1800's and was located where it is at in order to protect the opening of the San Francisco Bay.
These doorways are part of the barracks where the soldiers slept. I liked the repetitive lines in the hallway. It somewhat reminded me of some kind of mystery or horror movie where things fade into a vanishing point.
The face is that of my daughter. At the time this was taken she was across town in a modeling class. I was able to remove enough features in her face to make her less recognizable as I do not normally included my family in any of the work I publish.
