While working on an onion painting, I began to work with the flower. What an amazing ball of little flowers, perfectly round, like a well trimmed topiary from an arboretum. I thought what if we were on a planet where these beautiful flowers were actually giant trees. Thus I began this painting.. so welcome to a new world with some magnificent giant onion trees. I hope you enjoy them, and who knows how this might inspire you to create something exciting to share.
