Description
I was commissioned to paint this watercolor portrait of a magnificent home in Texas by a young couple who were soon moving to a new home and wanted a special reminder of their former home. The photos they sent me to use as reference were taken in late winter. They requested that I fill the flower pots with pink flowers, dress the bare trees and foundation plantings in summer foliage and paint the brown grass green.
