SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS LAST WALK
# January 29, 2017
Mike and I returned from a 10-day trip to Arizona and enjoyed the beautiful mountains and cactus. This is from a location we used to walk twice a day. We hardly ever saw anyone walking in this area and it’s one of the few places you can enjoy the entire Superstition mountain range and not have interference with power poles. I took the liberty to design the layout of the desert cactus with all my favorites; Saguaro, Barrel, Prickly Pear, Jumpin’ Cholla, Ocitillo which really isn’t a cactus and of course off to the right a Palo Verde tree. This is a morning version of the Superstitions. I have literally seen them in all colors. They should be called Chameleons because there are so many rock outcroppings they reflect the light of the sky.
