Seemingly plucked from the cover of a christmas card, twinkling city lights, reflections on Kootenay Lake waters, and snow covered mountains make for the stuff dreams are made of. This picturesque small ski town is Nelson, BC, Canada on a cold winter night.
This image is a long time-exposure. Because it is impossible to capture falling snow during the time required to take the image, a snowfall effect has been added through the wonders of photoshop. The snow covering the ground and buildings was very, very real.
