The Stoney Point outcropping can be seen through the trees from Santa Susana Pass near the Garden Of The Gods.
I was up early and it was an overcast morning in the San Fernando Valley. I helped the image along with a bit of digital magic to erase lots of gray and bolster the depth of the sky. The final production has a bit of a painted look to it. It's finished off with a slight texture that can be seen through use of the full-resolution preview.
