I chased the steam & angles for almost 5 minutes for this shot. It seemed that just as the steam would blow toward the sunshine a gust of wind would blow the steam away in another direction. I kept moving back & forth, left to right & eventually decided to just stand there & wait for a passing car to drive by and then it finally happened. I've been waiting years for a shot like this & I am so thankful & grateful for the ability to camp in Yellowstone this past fall. What a dream..
