Description
On the last evening in April, golden sunlight paints the view from Blue Mountain in Linden, Virginia, adding even more intensity to the brilliant colors of the springtime landscape, all set against a backdrop of dramatic clouds approaching from the south.
Linden is at the eastern edge of the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, and it seems to be a prime location for dramatic, rapidly changing skies.... the landscape is beautiful on its own, but factor in what's going on overhead, and it can be quite remarkable. A little note.... the old water tank visible on the ridge is a relic from the old Freezeland Orchard that operated on several hundred Blue Mountain acres for many, many years.
