Description
These are some orange and red geraniums that were growing at a winery I recently visited. They were planted along an iron fence, which makes a nice background of the spring views here.
Geranium are also known as Crane's Bill that has over 400 species. They are native to South Africa. They can grow anywhere from 6 inches to 3 to 4 feet tall. The common name Crane's bill refers to the seed capsule that looks like a crane's bill. Gerranium oil can be used as deodorant, tonic and diuretic. The leaves can be used to make tea.
