Description
This is a Mother’s Day mixed media painting of the Sarasota Florida skyline at sunrise with a girl holding spring flowers including hibiscus , roses, daisies, and with splashes of pink bougainvilleas as a backdrop. Palm trees, hibiscus bushes, bougainvillea, poinciana, and other blooming bushes and trees line the banks.
The painting is inspired by Yolanda’s painting for the Positive Energy Spring challenge contest. I incorporated the girl from Yolanda’s painting with alterations of hair, colors, blush, adding arms, hands holding the bouquet, and of course the rest is Sarasota instead of New York. I used mixed media of pen and ink, watercolor, paint sprayer, paint splashes, and leaf templates.
