Description
This was one of the highlights of my life. Walking through a regenerated forest in the Amazonas, Peru. Our guide pointed out that there was a sloth above. It was so high up, I had to use my telephoto lens to see it. My parents still don't believe it was there. Then I noticed through my lens that it was looking at us too. Our guide said there was a baby too- I can't quite make it out though. Right after this the skies opened up above and the Jungle poured with rain. I didn't even have time to put my camera away. I had to hide it under my raincoat. Unfortunately the camera was damaged and I couldn't take photos for the rest of the trip but- it was so worth it to see this beautiful creature. And the rain was amazing. I love the Amazon!
