Skaftafellsjokull is a glacier tongue of the Vatnajokull glacier located in Southern Iceland. It is part of the Skaftafell National Park. Here you can see a glacier tongue of the largest glacier in Europe. Over the last decade, Skaftafellsjökull has been receding dramatically showing the effects of global warming. In this photo the sun is lighting the glacier giving it a warm tone. The clouds had a wonderful warm and pink tone which contradicted to cold air coming from the glacier.
