Description
I love bright red geraniums, and I grow them in pots on my front porch nearly every year. In the afternoon, when that part of the house is in the shade, they always add such a pop of vibrant color in the shadowy light. For this image, I've taken a close-up shot and given it a bit of a shaded, shadowy look, with the soft-focus background darkened a bit and further muted by a textured slightly crackled overlay. I think it makes the saturated color of the flowers really shine.
