Yes. This is how toxic shame feels. You have really captured the pain and the inability to move and see.

Telling a story in art is not always, easy especially when it's about the darker side of human existence! Like how much of your art seems to tell a story of one thing or another and always thought provoking! f/l

Very deep work. I love the solid contrast from dark to light it flows so well and makes the important things really pop. Good work!

Fantastic and a very disturbing image. You have shown all spectrum of emotions in it, I like the colours, shadows and reflections on the foreground.

The illness that shame creates... seen from the outside. Felt within one's inner self. No one can punish me more than i can myself for the decisions I've made. Jaw dropping! Thank you.

I love this one, there' a story here what is it? I interpret the eyes in the wall as 'shame' of others seeing you. maybe the bottle as addiction or self medicating, no idea what it meant for you the creator, especially being a male I wonder where you were going with this because you've portrayed an emotion that I know as a female I've felt at times. what do the arms in the box below mean? I'm so curious about this one! I love it, and couldn't hang it up because it touches so many intense emotions in me all at once.
Mario Sanchez Nevado replied:
Hi Davina! The arms portray the feeling of paranoia that sometimes is what makes us feel ashamed - Maybe it was due to a mistake or just something lying in our minds. Thanks for your words!

A statement into the premise that, "Nothing in life is free". Terrific use of symbolism and technique. Bravo!
