Description
The joy of a macro lens with a wide open aperture – and the colours of a Scottish Thistle. I believe that I caught this one nicely. Not a lot of bokeh but the background was relatively benign, so that’s ot so much of a big deal. I applied a matte effect to the shadows to add just an extra bit of pop to the thistle and butterfly. Taken near Oban in Scotland. 2019
