Sometimes we confuse happiness with contentment.
By happiness we define those strong euphoric moments that we are longing for over and over again. As quickly as those emotional outbursts enter your life, they are gone as well.
Not very reliable indeed, whereas contentment is a way longer lasting feeling. A tone set for our life. Instead of craving for more happiness we should strive for more contentment as it is ever lasting and sets a tone for a healthy balanced lifestyle while outbursts of happiness will come along all naturally, this to me is the key on our journey we call life.
