This painting was inspired by happy memories and represents my son examining his latest find in the rock pools at the beach! My late parents were frequently with us during weekends and my Mother, who was a teacher, encouraged the boys always to explore and care for the environment. These happy days were such an adventure and leave precious memories, which I share with you in this painting.

This is a re-visit to this most charming painting, Rosemary!!! I remember being at the beach in Ireland, collecting shells and seaweed from the rock pools, dressed in a coat and hat like this little girl, because even in the summer time it was rather cold... Very nostalgic painting... L/F
