Description

Riverside Geyser, part of the Upper Geyser Basin which is home to Old Faithful, is a regularly erputing geyser that is very picturesque. During the right time of day you can get photos of this geyser erupting and creating a beautiful rainbow. I was not so fortunate to have timed it so well that day.

Nice capture Jeremy. I was there as a young child. I'm sure I didn't appreciate it near as much as I would now ( : I do remember my father getting out of the car and walking through a field to try and capture a picture of an Elk, I believe. Probably not the smartest thing - but at least better than trying to take an iPhone selfie with one! I also remember black bears climbing trees - and people who would threw out sticky candy dots grrrrr! and bears trying to find food in the campsites. People were not any smarter then than now, as I recall one camper trying to take on a bear who had swiped open their cooler. Gratefully, I didn't see someone mauled by a bear that day. Hope to get back here one day.
