Description
This is my first pencil drawing of a rhino. It took me around 120 hours. The rhino in this drawing is a Indian Rhino, aka Greater One-Horned Rhino. They are the largest of all rhino species. I donate part of the proceeds of the original drawing, and the prints, to Chengeta Wildlife, an organization that fights against the poaching of wildlife like elephants and rhinos.

Hello fantastic teacher young sir...Mr. Remrov! Your artwork is SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!! You taught me more in 5 minutes then I had learned in hours and hours of internet research on learning to how draw photo realistically/hyper realism. I am 78 years, 8 months and 15 days old. I took my first art class when I was 65 years+ of age. I had wanted to draw since I was 7 years old...in 1947. But...back in the "old" days artists were not respected and we were not allowed to even consider art as a viable option for earning a living. I am an artist. I paint in the style of American artist Jackson Pollock. I "throw" paint. I suffered from ADHD as a teenager. I knew something was different about my brain but I was never able to share what was happening to me as a student. Brain disorders were not known/studied decades ago. It is wonderful the progress that has been made in the last several decades. Now...I am recovering. I am again ready to pursue my interest in art. LOL! At age 78 I do NOT have decades to read all of the instructions given in tutorials. I needed something "short" and to-the-point. Your explanation of "autism" helped me to realize why my brain was always "bananas" when compared to my friends and how they learned. I was never able to read a book for I was so very hyperactive. How I learned was to read the title of the book...its table of contents and the educational credentials of the author. I had to memorize everything. I learned what foods to avoid. You are doubly gifted and ethical...you R-O-C-K!!! I was so amazed by your artwork...it brought tears to my eyes. I agree with Traci Thomas's comments.
