Description
Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park is seen with a dramatic sky above. Among the highest in Canada, the waters of this waterfall drop 1,260 feet from the top. It is fed by the Daly Glacier which is part of the the Waputik Icefield. The name is taken from the Cree and loosely translated means Cree, "it is magnificent." That certainly seems fitting.
