My very good friend and fellow artist, Alga Washington, painted this portrait of me from a photo I sent her via our cell phones... I was having a particularly devastating month dealing with multiple deaths and Alga painted this as a surprise. What a beautiful gift! It's the first painted portrait of me... I feel so special.
