Day 79 of the 100 day 2021 art challenge.
My reference for this piece was the very recognizable painting, Portrait of a Cardinal, by Raphael. I was very lucky to be able to view the original in person at the Prado Museum in Madrid. This is my interpretation.
About two hours, with a light base sketch (in ballpoint pen), followed by green/blue India ink with a dip pen, then red and brown markers. Your comments, shares, and purchases are welcome!
