Description
The charming town of Port Angeles, on the northern shore of the state of Washington, in early September 2012. Small buildings dot the shoreline, with predominately greens and blues throughout this peaceful scene. Clear blue sky, with a beautiful view of the Cascade Mountains, and green masses of evergreens as the hills lead toward the mountains.
The body of water is the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a channel that runs between the United States and Canada, from the Pacific Ocean eastward. Shot from a ferry on the return trip from Victoria, B.C., Canada, to Port Angeles. Compatible with several other photographs in this album, and taken in the same spot as an image shot earlier in the day as the sun was rising.
