Petaluma River Sunrise,
Every now and then I like to wake up early and take a drive over to Sonoma County and the Sonoma-Petaluma area. The mornings can be so peaceful before all of the tourist wake up and start hitting some of the world class wineries in the area.
It's a short drive up Lakeville Highway through the eucalyptus trees that you come to an old marina/steakhouse. It's actually quit rundown but I find it interesting. Old wood boats are found strewn about the yard in various states of disrepair.
Down at the docks there are usually a dozen or so sailboats, most have seen better days, but the early morning sunlight can play trick to your eyes. In this case, you might even be able to coax me out for a sail on this boat.
