A single poppy is growing in the dirt near my home. There are no other poppies anywhere near here let alone a white one. The white poppy is a symbol of peace. I don't know how this poppy started to grow where it did. I was so struck by the beauty of the poppy in the middle of the dirt and rocks and grass and I was reminded how fragile peace is. It can grow in the midst of Chaos! This flower also has yellow, black and brown that give it it's beauty.
