This abstract image is a closeup of a section of a flyer posted on a lamp post in Asheville, North Carolina. The poster was torn and the only feature still showing was the peace symbol with the circle changed to a heart shape. The lamp post was considerably weathered and rusted. It struck me as a juxtaposition - peace and destruction - and I thought of the song by Barry McGuire "Eve of Destruction."
