Greetings Tgchan, thank you so much for viewing Pastel Pear Still Life, the particular still life was none many years ago I had others and many of my original works were sold. I had renovated and lived in a grand Victorian and when the home was sold, I am missing quite a few or my earlier pieces of work. I had never dabbled in pastels and only work from time to time on water colors which I favor over anything else. When I made the transition from artist to photographer and try to simulate my photography as my canvas using various depth of field and color. My personal schedule these days prevent me some sitting still long enough to work on compositions. I originally had my work in the large black portfolio carry case and I had all my fashion designs, portraits and so forth and they were not in the case. When I moved into the complex I am I had to leave belongings downstairs on the first floor as I moved other things to the 4th I often wondered if someone saw the portfolio opened it up and removed some of my work or left on the flat insert of the moving van and it was getting dark and did not see it and brought the truck back to the rental place, some of my best work from college is also among the missing pieces of work I produced, it remains a mystery still. Recently discovered original piece of artwork I did while attending High School back in the late 60's/70's. This amazing still life was tucked between other pieces of paper. In my earlier days of refining my artist ability I worked in oils, and pastels, pen and ink drawings.
