I was in this general area for more than half an hour photographing the rushing waters of the
Guadalupe River as it makes its way through Gruene and New Braunfels. The Mighty Guadalupe is not the easiest river to photograph, since most of it runs through private land, and if you find a vantage point on a bridge, there's no shoulder but plenty of "No parking at any time" signs on the fence! The lighting was not the best, but I had to shoot anyways since I was on my way to West Texas and this was going to be my last chance. Also, due to a couple of early cold fronts, the bald cypresses started turning two weeks earlier than usual: this was taken on the 4th of November! Doing some rock scrambling, I arrived at this location where I could create this six-image panorama. Thanks for looking! FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
