As far as I understand digital/fractal art means the image doesn't exist in real life. If this is true, no idea how you've created this but this is incredibly, truly beautiful, superb job...
Kevin Trow replied:
Sometimes fractal geometry can imitate many different natural pattern such as those in leaves, a swirl of smoke, shells, trees, and many others. Thanks for looking Feryal.

It isn't easy to shape a fractal image so it appears recognizable, but you did it well with this piece!

I really like the fantastic reality of this image - the fractal/science nature to it enhances its appeal - well done!

Looks rugged and none too friendly to life, but beautiful in its austerity... Excellent work, Kevin! F&V

This takes me back 30-some years to an Arthur C. Clarke generated fractal representation of Mars' surface. Clarke also had an early special on fractals which can be found on Youtube. I see Fei's comment here. I find much of her work to be images of naturally occuring fractals like cracks in sidewalks, streaks and oil slicks on road surfaces. You and she are probably my favorite fractal artists on FAA. Thanks to both of you for gracing the WHAT? group.
Kevin Trow replied:
I really appreciate your inspiring words and support Jim. I often view and comment on Fei's work as well, she is quite talented and has a unique eye. I will be checking out YouTube. Thanks Jim
