This watercolor painting features three beautiful orange angel's trumpet lilies in various stages of blooming. The dramatic flowers and their chartreuse leaves are presented against a dark green background.
This painting utilized the negative painting technique, where many of the shapes are defined more by painting the areas around the image, rather than the image itself.
This is a slightly digitally enhanced version of an earlier upload. This version has darker, more vivid colors, and greater contrast. It is a slightly more dramatic presentation of the original painting.
