Description
Orange poppies are originally from Morocco. This variety grows up to 2 feet tall, and has larger blooms that span 2 to 4 inches across. Tuckahoe Plantation has several beautiful gardens with perennials flowers blooming throughout the spring and summer. This is where I was able to photograph this deep orange poppy that stood out from the other Tuckahoe Plantation in Goochland, Virginia. You can that I've added a spicy background to enhance the light that reflected through the poppy's delicate petals.
